GET INVOLVED

we could use your help//

Help your community by getting involved with activism. There's a lot of work to do, and not enough people. Below are some organizations I help with.

GLOBAL H20

a clean water initiative//

Global H2O’s mission is to provide clean water and sanitation facilities in rural areas in order to:

  • Improve overall health of the communities and reduce child mortality rates

  • Improve school attendance

  • Empower women by putting them in their first community leadership roles

  • Enable these communities to move on to the next stage of development

We have provided over 100 wells and 20 latrines in Central Africa which provide clean water to over 200,000 people.

The water problem is vast, but the solution is simple and effective. A $20 donation provides clean water to one person for the rest of his or her life.

global movement to end world poverty//

Image representing the Oxfam Organization

Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn't inevitable. In just 15 years, extreme poverty has been halved. 15 more years and we can end it for good.

  • Beating hunger

  • Safe, clean water for all

  • Health and education

  • Responding in emergencies

  • Tackling Coronavirus

  • Fighting climate change

  • Women and gender justice

Whether we are running life-saving emergency responses, life-changing development projects or campaigning at the grassroots to tackle poverty, Oxfam's work is always rooted in a vision of a world where women and men are valued and treated equally, able to influence the decisions that affect their lives and meet their responsibilities as full citizens.

Guiding Principles are:

  • People with ALS and their families come first

  • One team, one vision, one mission

  • Accountability and transparency

  • Diversity and inclusion
